A day in Valentina’s childhood
Memories of a childhood is what we look for in our photography. As Reynolds Price mention in the book “Sally Mann, Immediate Family”, what photos you miss from your childhood? Probably you have the ones posed for Christmas cards, or moments where everyone was ready for a party. But, what about the every day moments? Those afternoons of joy at your place? The textures of your bed sheets? The colors of your house walls? Things that fade on our memory with time and that could be saved in a picture for future.
This photo shoot summarizes what we believe a childhood photography session should be. Instead of a beautiful park or an average location, the pictures were taken at the family’s home.
Valentina will have vivid memories of a true childhood in colors. She will not only remember how she was physically, but she will also have memories of objects and textures that brings her joy.
